Shot by photographer Max von Gumppenberg, a close and long time collaborator of Roitfeld, the campaign for Carine's perfume embodies the rebellious essence of the fragrance. "I've never seen myself like this. And it's precisely what I love about it." says Carine Roitfeld. An umpteenth reinvention, free and empowered, defying rules and expectations.
A NEW SUMMERY DESIGN
"Khaki is my favorite color, along with black. It's my other black. it's a more open, mor eluminous, less formal." tells Carine Roitfeld. The soft and powdery accents of the pebble-shaped bottle are full of character for a box designed like a book that opens adventurous chapters.
A FRAGRANCE BY DOMINIQUE ROPION
To reveal the woman behind her original fragrance debut collection 7 Lovers, Roitfeld worked closely with master perfumer Dominique Ropion, the nose behind some of the world's most iconic scents. "When I think about perfumes, I conjure up feminity, not a woman, or a book, or a painting in particular, and I make perfumes because I love talking about Love, Sexuality and Freedom." says Dominique Ropion.

Dark and fascinating Patchouli is Carine Roitfeld's fetish fragrance. It's magnetic scope is accentuated by the woody duo of the elegant and earty vetiver and the woody vibration of Cashmeran. Luminous, sparkling notes of fresh spices, pink pepper, cardamom, Madagascar Black Pepper - provide contrast for the dark wood. And finally, a sensual, feminine, white flral bouquet composed of the warm, mysterious, and voluptuous notes of Jasmine and Gardenia.
